Fiora is a little girl from Zaun who got, as so many from the Undercity, addicted to Shimmer.
Now she tries helping people to overcome their addiction.
This project started with a lot of demotivation but quickly turned out to be a favourite of mine,
as I got a chance to enhance my abilities with character design and stylized texturing.
(Totally no inspiration was taken from Jinx ;) )
As a long time fan of Arcane, the plan was clear,
create a character who would fit into the undercity.
I wanted to incorporate elements from diffrent characters,
f.e. the shimmer scars as seen on many people from zaun.
At the same time I tried to keep a innocent look because even
a criminal place needs his heros.
In my mind Fiora is a fan of Jinx so it would only be logical
if she copied some of her clothing choices
such as the shoes and the forearm guard

Unfortunately the rigging for the hairs didnt work
as planned and i will fix it in the future
I wanted to keep the base model as simple as possible,
so i put alot of work into the high res models
and then baked those in Substance Painter.
Since this was my first human character
the unwrapping process was an adventure
and I had to learn alot about efficient UVs.
But overall I'm quite happy
with how she turned out.
Since rigging and weightpainting have their own quirks
alot of time was spent on figuring out what meshes to group
and which should be separate.
I modeled the body as seperate pieces combining
and remeshing the when it came to sthe sculpting part.
The clothes were created with assistance of the
shrinkwrap modifier to get the mesh onto the body
while not having to focus on the distance towards the mesh.
Simple Objects like the arm straps were
created from the low model by duplicating
face sets and scaling them up.
Overall I'm very happy with how Fiora turned out,
but for future characters I'd like to get more details into the sculpted mesh
and enhance my texture painting skills.
